Person airlifted to hospital at A96 near Lhanbryde after night-time crash

THE A96 was closed for several hours last night after an accident took place near Lhanbryde.

The road reopened at 11.45pm following the collision.

The road was closed between 9.50pm and 11.45pm following the collision. One person was injured in the crash and was airlifted to hospital.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.50pm on Friday, 23 June, 2023, police were called to a report of a two-vehicle road crash on the A96 at Lhanbryde. One person was taken to hospital for treatment and the road was cleared around 11.45pm.”
