PET OF THE WEEK: Lovely Lady hoping to trot off to her retirement home!
LADY is a lovely older mare looking to trot off to her retirement home.
She is currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
This elegant elder is looking for a quiet life with lots of company. She can get a bit stressed when left on her own, so would need a friend to live with.
Lady loves people, and is always the first to greet you in the field - you will definitely hear her before you see her!
She can be nervous with the farrier at first, but comes around quickly. A big fan of a groom, she will follow you anywhere.
Lady currently lives out 24/7 with no rug, with mares and geldings, and is happy with everyone.
Being an older lady, she does have some dental problems and would benefit from a home with some knowledge in this area.
