PICTURE of the day: Catching the Moray Firth waves at Hopeman

ON the crest of a wave - literally.

Reader Mike Sutherland grabbed these dramatic photos at Hopeman harbour on Tuesday.

Two surfers took to the sea to take advantage of the large swell.

And judging by Mike's photo (below) they caught some great waves.
