ELGIN Musical Theatre hit a high note with their sold-out production of Footloose.
The musical adaptation of the classic 80's movie proved popular with Moray audiences, with a sold out run at Elgin Town Hall.
The cast of 50 had spent more than eight months rehearsing the show, and were delighted by their reception from Moray audiences.
Director Callum Mcleod said: "The cast did really well, and the technical folk, all volunteers, gave up their time to really make the show what it was. The cast have been rehearsing for eight months, but the technical team only really came in that week and pulled everything together, so they've done really well, and I'm really proud of them."
As the curtains close on Footloose, preparations for next year's musical are already underway. The cast and crew are gearing up for a new challenge with Shrek the Musical, which is set to begin rehearsals in the summer.
Callum added: "I'd like to say a huge congratulations to everyone who worked on the show, our Musical Director Angus, Choreographer Zoe and Assistant Director Janie have all worked really hard to pull the show together and as a team I'm so proud of the hard work and the show that the cast has put on."
