PICTURES: Forres family bring Christmas cheer with charity display

A FORRES family are spreading Christmas joy by raising money for charity through their festive decorations.

The Stewarts, who previously raised funds with a Halloween display, are raising money for MFR Cash for Kids.

The family started their extravagant displays when they moved to 48 Twinning Link in 2012. Pauline says they have been getting bigger and bigger every year since then.

She said: “Children and families coming to the house has been amazing. Seeing their little faces light up is magical.

“Lots of people have stopped by to take pictures. I’ve been told it’s the best house in Forres.”

The family are planning future displays, with one set to be happening this Easter. The Christmas display, along with a Secret Santa, a Cost-of-living table and Count the Santa has raised £121 so far.

All are welcome to head along and see the display, which will be in place until at least Christmas Day. Donations are welcome.
