HOPEMAN Gala organisers have been delighted by the success of the annual week-long event.
Around 40 different events took place between July 15 and July 22, with locals and visitors alike enjoying the ever-popular sandcastle competition and the raft race.
The fancy dress parade and teddy bears picnic were also well attended with lots of people also taking part in quizzes, treasure hunts and live music events throughout the week.
Gala Convenor Jennifer Middlecote said: "What an amazing week we have had, family, friends and visitors alike have come together to enjoy the various events we have hosted.
"The Gala Committee would like to thank all those who made this week possible by volunteering their time and skills, it wouldn’t have happened without them."
The village's Fete took place on the last day of the Gala, and attendees were also treated to a show from the Red Arrows who were visiting RAF Lossiemouth's Families and Friends Day.
The Gala closed with the evening festival, which featured live music from Scott Ramsay, followed by Big G and the Young Guns along with a finale DJ set from Ed Fennell and Kev Smith, which had everyone dancing the night away.
Jennifer added: "The Gala Committee have received many comments saying that this has been a great Gala week and we are looking forward to 2024 when we will celebrate the 50th year of Hopeman Gala. We will begin planning in first week of September."
