THE Hopeman Gala is in full swing this week, with a programme of events and activities for all ages to enjoy.
Kicking off on July 15, locals and visitors to the village have already taken part in a family fun quiz, a fancy dress parade and a family disco – with more unique events like the Gong bath and Nerf wars also being well attended.
Gala convenor Jennifer Middlecote said: "We have been absolutely overwhelmed with the support, engagement and the fun and laughs that we've had this week.
"It has been great to see the community, the holiday makers and the visitors come together to enjoy Hopeman Gala and we are looking forward to the rest of the week."
Events will continue until Saturday June 22, with the Teddy Bears Picnic, the Sandcastle Competition and Car Treasure Hunt taking place in the coming days, before the grand finale of the Gala Fete and Disco on Saturday.
