A popular Elgin pub has reopened following a six-figure renovation designed to give it a brand new look and feel.

Located on Thunderton Place, The Granary has had two new bars installed to create more space.

The new dancefloor is now closer to the bar, with the old one being converted into a seating area with all-new furnishings.

Gary Webster, the pub's general manager, said: "The revamp has brought a revived atmosphere to the pub and we cannot wait to open our doors back up to the public."

The Granary provides sponsorship of both Moray rugby club and Elgin City, as part of Greene King’s Proud to Pitch In initiative to support grassroots sports.
