THE spirit of the festive season came to Portknockie Primary School in style when they held their Christmas show.

The school hall was to provide the perfect venue for the youngsters to perform Bossy King, their take on the nativity story.

Mary and Joseph's travails on the way to and arrival in Bethlehem, and the subsequent birth of the baby Jesus, provided an enchanting spectacle for for the audience.
