PICTURES: Red Arrows fly high on visit to Moray
THE Red Arrows are wowing crowds in Moray and across the north of Scotland on a visit to the area this week.
One of the world's most famous aerial display teams, the Red Arrows were in the skies on Monday, Tuesday and at around 9am this morning.
Five jets – as opposed to the regular nine – are taking part in practice runs.
A second run is expected to leave RAF Lossie at 11.52am and return at 12.36pm, with a third at 2.52pm returning at 3.36pm.
Two further shows will take place on Thursday before the jets head back to RAF Waddington, in England, at 3.30pm.
An RAF spokesperson said: "This helps prepare for a new display season, which happens often during a busy summer of events and airshows across the UK.
"Flying times and sortie details vary at short notice due to weather and other factors."
