Police appeal for witnesses over danger driver

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following reports of a car being driven dangerously yesterday afternoon.

A dark-coloured Saab was driven in a dangerous manner on Aviemore's Grampian Road, before leaving the town towards Grantown-on-Spey, after it failed to stop for police at around 2.45pm on Monday, April 13.

The car is thenbelieved to have travelled on rural back roads towards the Elgin area.

Enquiries are ongoing to trace the vehicle.

Constable Caroline Gray, from Aviemore Police Station, said: "Anyone who witnessed this car yesterday or who has any knowledge of the incident is encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting incident 1977 of April 13."
