Police are appealing for witnesses after a car collided with a lamp-post and damaged three parked cars.
The vehicle – which is believed to be silver-coloured – drove off after hitting the lamp-post on Forties place, Lossiemouth, in the early hours of yesterday morning at about 1.30am.
The Ford on the left of the picture belongs to Alan McIntosh, the Lossiemouth FC chairman.
Alan said: "My car and my daughter's car received some damage after they were hit by pieces of the fence that were sent flying.
"However it's possible my neighbour's vehicle could be a write-off – it's being checked out now.
"Unfortunately I slept through this.
"The first thing I knew that anything had happened was in the morning when the council came to repair the lamp-post.
"But people did see a silver car driving about. It was also heard tearing round the next street.
"Whoever did this must have damaged the car they were driving as well, so I'd ask people to keep a lookout."
Constable Selina Banford, of the Lossiemouth policing team, said: "The car left the area without stopping.
"We are appealing to anyone with any information who witnessed this incident and hasn't already spoken with police, or for anyone to come forward who has seen a silver-coloured car with significant new damage to the front and/or rear of the vehicle."
Call Police on 101 and give the reference number 0202 of June 10.
