The family of an 86-year-old man from Nairn have been informed after a body was found near Lochindorb yesterday afternoon at 3pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Formal identification is yet to take place but the family of missing man Patrick Mills has been informed.

"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."

Police issued an appeal yesterday for the public's help in tracing Mr Mills after he was reported missing.

The pensioner had previously last been seen leaving his home address in a car on Monday morning.
