The comedian is performing at Aberdeen's Breakneck Comedy Club on September 24, with a second date at the Granite City's Comedy Festival on October 15.

Robin said: "It feels amazing to be returning to the north east to do shows. The support I got from people in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Banffshire during the Edinburgh Fringe was beyond anything I could have hoped for."

Robin received viral acclaim last month, after performing his first fringe show to an audience of one.

The story reached legendary comedy critic Kate Copstick and went viral from there, with Robin performing to sold out audiences for the rest of the festival and receiving interview requests from press across the world including Germany, Ireland and Toronto.

Prior to his success at the Fringe, Robin has toured as support for Larry Dean, Tom Stade, Gary Meikle and Kevin Bridges, now the comedian will return to his north-east roots

When asked what audiences can expect from the north-east performances Robin said: "People can expect a really funny hour of feel-good observational comedy with a positive message about how fleeting time is and why we should make the most of it and use it to be kinder to people.

"I’ll also share the story of my surreal fringe experience. I have always adored comedians like Billy Connolly, Victoria Wood and Richard Pryor - comedians who make you laugh non stop - and that’s what I’m trying my best to do."

He added: "A lot of people travelled from the north east to see my fringe show so it is an honour to head back up north and put on shows for people who may not have seen it during August."
