Chairman of Pride in Moray, David Harrison, confirmed the festivities will start at Market Green at 1pm, proceeding through High Street to Grant Park.

He said: “Gather your friends and family, and join us for an unforgettable day of celebration, entertainment, and above all, pride. This will be a moment in time where we come together to embrace our shared humanity and revel in the beauty of being exactly who we are.”

Proceedings will kick off with a march from Bridge Street to promote unity.

Mr Harrison said: “The march will be a powerful stride towards equality, a testament to the strength that arises when people stand shoulder-to-shoulder. The gathering will set the tone for the day, as the attendees embark on a journey of celebration and togetherness.”

At 1.30pm, there will be a pause for reflection and inspiration.

“Speeches will resonate as love, acceptance, and pride take centre stage,” added Mr Harrison.

“They will remind everyone of the importance of diversity and equal rights.

“The speakers will share a vision for a more inclusive world.”

The colourful, energetic and enthusiastic procession will wind through the town centre to the park.
