AN RAF serviceman has denied knocking a man out in Elgin by punching him in the head.
Aiden Woodfine (35) appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court on Thursday, January 4 charged with assaulting a man at City Arms Close, Elgin.
According to the charge, Woodfine is alleged to have punched the man "on the head", "causing his head to strike a wall, rendering him unconscious" on December 9, 2023.
Solicitor Grant Dalgleish tendered a not guilty plea on Woodfine's behalf, as Sheriff David Harvie presided.
In court papers, the 35-year-old's address was given as Stewart House, RAF Lossiemouth.
Released on bail, Woodfine was given a trial date of April 29.
