THE cenotaph in Burghead is looking fresh ahead of Remembrance Day.

These photos sent in by Helen Elder show the monument in the village looking at its best before Armistice Day is marked.

Helen said: "Burghead’s cenotaph has again benefitted from the care the town takes to make it look it’s best for Armistice Day and Armistice Sunday.

"Organisations in the village came together to plant with beautiful red cyclamen and decorate with handmade poppies."
