THE Red Arrows display team impressed people in Moray as part of RAF Lossiemouth's Friends and Family Day.

On July 20, Typhoons, a Poseidon and the Red Arrows were in the skies above Moray – and readers of The Northern Scot grabbed plenty of pictures.

The Typhoon was pictured during take-off by Alan Tough, who described the display as "amazing", adding: "It was quite a day!"

The Red Arrows formed a heart in the sky, which was captured during the North of Scotland Tennis Championships in Elgin.

The display team left a heart in the sky over Moray – which was perfectly visible during the North of Scotland Tennis Championships at Elgin Tennis Club.

This picture was captured by Ramon Ralph during the under-12 girls final match between Millie Ralph, from Elgin, and Sophie Reid, Glasgow.
