OUR readers have submitted pictures which show off the snowy conditions across Moray.

These snaps show the results of the significant snowfall seen in recent days, and were taken in spots across the local area including Aberlour, Forres and Elgin.

Significant disruption has been caused by the weather, with schools closed and their opening delayed, roads closed and more.

Yellow weather warnings for snow and ice have become a familiar feature of Moray weather forecasts.

However, the Met Office has today confirmed that coming days will see less snowfall – though strong winds will come in their stead.
