Reboot's Lee McGrath the winner of Developing the Young Workforce Moray's 'Employer Recognition Award'

A FORRES man has been recognised for his efforts in helping young people into the world of work.
Lee McGrath, who is the manager at Reboot in Forres, received DYW Moray's final Employer Recognition Award for 2023.
The award recognises local employers for their work with DYW Moray and their commitment to inspiring Moray's young people and better preparing them for the world of work.
Committed to the Young Person’s Guarantee, Lee’s work within the local area includes organising workplace tours and workshops, providing work experience placements and mentoring young people.
Reboot works to reduce IT waste. While doing so, the company creates a wealth of volunteering opportunities –so much so that the business was recently awarded the Kings Award for Voluntary Service.
Lee said: “We are very grateful to receive this recognition, and value the support and connection we have with DYW Moray.
"The Reboot staff and volunteers really enjoy running tours and taster sessions with the young people; seeing them start to understand our business and get involved is genuinely fantastic.
"The younger generation are the future and it make sense to help them navigate the gap between education and the world of work. I would highly recommend other employers to get involved with DYW Moray.”
DYW School Coordinator Carinne Taylor added: “Choosing just one employer each month to present this award to is so difficult.
"But Lee goes above and beyond to provide the best experience to anyone who visits Reboot and the work he does with young people has changed a lot of their lives for the better.
"Lee is a very deserving recipient of this month’s Employer Recognition Award.”
