KEITH Grammar School pupils will play it loud when they rock the town on stage next week.

KGS Dramatics members are fine-tuning their performances in final rehearsals for School of Rock – the Next Generation Musical which is based on the hit film, School of Rock. The film stars Jack Black as Dewey Finn as he turns a class of straight-A students into an all-conquering rock band.

The book of the film and the show was written by Julian Fellowes and the score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Glenn Slater.

"This very committed cast and crew will be performing the show for two performances only – Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 of June.

"Be prepared from some rock."

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Tickets are priced £7.50 for adults, £5 concession and £18 for a family ticket (two adults and two concessions) and are available from the school office or from members of the cast and crew.

There will be refreshments and raffles at the interval.
