ROADWORKS are set to take place on a section of road in Moray during September, with traffic lights to be in place for a number of days.

The Craigellachie turn-off, on the junction of the A941 and the A95, will have traffic lights in place from Monday, September 18, until Wednesday, September 20.

Five vehicle restraint systems (VRS terminals) are set to be replaced during work which will be undertaken by Amey.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the work will be undertaken with traffic lights set up between 8am to 7pm.

Amey is undertaking a series of essential road safety improvements at three other locations on the A95, with an annual review to be undertaken on all collisions that have occurred on the North-East Trunk Road.

Works are part of a £125,000 project, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland.

Works are subject to weather conditions and may be altered or cancelled.
