Dena Cruickshank, president of Rothes Horticultural and Industrial Society, said: "Our annual flower show takes place on Saturday, September 7 at the Grant Hall, New Street and we’re hoping for a bumper turnout from exhibitors."

The hall will be open from 6-9pm on Friday and from 7.30-9.30am on the day of the show for submission of entries.

The popular event is then open to the public from 1.30pm on Saturday to view the exhibits.
