Russian State Ballet warms up for Speyside date

TICKETS have gone on sale for a special performance on Speyside featuring elite ballet dancers.

Members of the Russian State Ballet will return to Speyside High School on November 14 with a collection of classical and contemporary performances.

Among soloists will be the prima ballerina of the Russian Ballet, Polina Filippova, and her partner Ilya Perepelkin.

Patricia Goodbrand, Speyside High School's head teacher, said: "We are delighted to welcome back the Russian State Ballet – one of the leading dance companies – with an exciting performance that will surely bring excitement to our community."

The performance gets underway at 7pm and is sponsored by Walkers Shortbread, with tickets – priced at £6/£4 – available from Speyside High School on 01340 871522.
