Santa to visit Keith Kilt and Textile Centre in December

SANTA is set to visit Keith next month – with youngsters to be given the chance to meet him at Keith Kilt and Textile Centre.

Santa will take time out of his busy schedule to meet and greet the town's younger children in the lead up to Christmas on Thursday, December 9.

He will be led down Mid Street by the Strathisla Pipe Band before attending the Keith Kilt and Textile Centre from 6pm to 8pm on the same evening as United Keith’s late night shopping event.

Parents and carers will be able to book a slot for their young one to meet Santa from Monday, November 22, through United Keith’s Facebook page, by phoning 01542 886846 or by emailing kiltandtextiles@btconnect.com.

As well as the opportunity to meet Santa Claus, United Keith is running a competition for children, where they will be tasked with finding elves in shop windows around Keith. Children can pick up entry forms from The Deli Shop or Boogie Woogie,

There will also be three Christmas hampers on offer for people in town. Various Keith shops will be taking part in a scheme which will see customers entered into a free draw to win a hamper when they buy locally.

Hampers will contain a selection of goods donated by shopkeepers, with the winning hamper to contain a voucher which can be used in shops in town.

Winners of the Christmas hampers will be chosen on Christmas Eve.
