Magnificent Pittodrie House, near Inverurie, is welcoming couples and their families to tour the hotel and grounds, and meet the wedding team, led by wedding co-ordinator, Sarah McCombie, to discover how your dream big day can become a reality.
Visitors will be greeted with a glass of fizz on arrival before beginning their tour of the hotel’s sumptuous bedrooms and collection of function suites which will be decorated and dressed in a variety of beautiful wedding styles.
The team have also hand-picked a selection of trusted wedding suppliers to meet on the day, including: Whisky & Bloom Wedding Stationery; With this Dress; Fitlike Photography; Jan’s Tartan Flowers and Accessories; LJ Toffee Wedding Favours; Humanist Society Scotland; and Alba Bagpipes.
This is a great opportunity to meet the experts, discuss ideas and find inspiration for those all important details and finishing touches.
During the afternoon you can sample some of the delights from the Pittodrie kitchen with a selection of tastings from the hotel’s wedding menus.
Outside, explore the stunning grounds and picturesque walled garden, an ideal spot for an alfresco service or photographs, set against the dramatic backdrop of Bennachie. There will also be special offers available to new bookings on the day.
Pittodrie House prides itself on creating bespoke, tailor-made weddings for every couple who choose the venue – from decorations to in-house catering – whether it is a lavish gathering of up to 120 guests or a more intimate service for a small family, or perhaps a romantic elopement!
The Sunday showcase will be the perfect opportunity to see what Pittodrie House can offer, as an exclusive-use venue or a hotel.
“We want to tailor a really unique experience for a couple,” said hotel manager, Andrew Leggat. “We always implore them to visit the venue so we can get to know them better, add that personal touch and how, as a team, we can make a success of their wedding.”

The hotel has 27 beautiful bedrooms with many boasting original features including fireplaces and antique furniture, and romantic four poster beds.
Couples have the option of exclusive use or a hotel wedding, but you will be made to feel right at home whatever choice you make!
There is also the option to extend your stay and celebration instead of having just one single big day.
Pittodrie House offers a wedding weekend as well as a wedding day where families can mingle and enjoy the hotel’s hospitality in the build-up to the ceremony and then relax the day afterwards. “What’s really popular right now is guests will stay the night before the wedding and we can organise a dinner or a barbecue in the grounds,” explained hotel manager, Andrew Leggat.
“The day after the wedding, we can offer complimentary late check-out, a barbecue or a Sunday roast for the family before they leave. So, instead of one day, it becomes more of an event or weekend.
“We’re quite unique in that we can offer a full hotel experience and at the same time offer an exclusive-use experience as well.
“We can give an inclusive package which includes your catering, glasses, tables, crockery – we can take care of all the details. You don’t have to work with a separate supplier. We can do everything in-house.” Mr Leggat added Pittodrie House can create weddings for just two people or up to 120 guests – and everything in between – but that each wedding is unique, bespoke and personalised for each and every couple.
