That is the highlight of the week-long celebration in Lossiemouth which started last Saturday.

A sandcastle building competition on Sunday proved popular with the children and families.

Other highlights have been a teddy bear picnic, Critter Keeper exotic animal workshop, buffet dinner dance, soup and sweet, tennis taster session, hopscotch magic, coffee morning and a family fun night.

The fun continues on Wednesday with a pamper party and crafts, walking football at Marine Park, a kids' heritage hunt on Thursday, a tapas and tails gin night, Moo Music for 0-5 year olds on Friday, and a heritage walk through the town.

There will be a Seafest 5k on Saturday at 10am.

The family fun day is from 11am to 5pm and will include craft stalls, children's entertainment, food and drink, including local seafood and face painting and festival hair.

There will be live music from 8-11.30pm.

On Sunday there will be the chance to try paddle boarding, sailing or canoeing with the Moray Watersport open day from 10am to 5pm and the finale to Seafest will be a songs of praise at 3pm.

Most of the events are based around the marquee in Station Park.

The festival has been sponsored by the Scottish White Fish Producers Association and other local businesses.
