Serica Energy, which operates the Bruce gas field in the North Sea, first partnered with the cancer charity back in 2019.

Mike Killeen, the company's vice president in Aberdeen, said: "We greatly admire the work that CLAN has done during lockdown and its dynamic future plans now that life is moving towards normality.

"It has been impressive to see the charity do everything it can to continue to support local people despite the need for social distancing.

"We know from our association with CLAN that people affected by cancer can feel very isolated, so this support is fundamentally important."

Fiona Fernie, from CLAN said: "Now that we have re-opened our doors to new and existing clients, it’s more important than ever to encourage anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis to speak to one of our support professionals today.

"With cancer services and diagnosis ramping up, we want to spread our message to anyone facing a cancer diagnosis."

CLAN has a presence in Elgin, Forres and Lossiemouth.
