AN information event on funding opportunities through the Arts and Culture UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) Round 2 is set to be held in Moray.

Due to be held in Elgin Library on Wednesday, April 24 from 4pm to 6pm, the event aims to help organisations learn more about the Fund and the application process and connect with fellow potential applicants.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund Round 2 opens on Friday, April 19 with a deadline for applications on May 31. Grants of up to £20,000 offered to support Moray organisations in the arts, culture and heritage sectors.

The fund is providing £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025, with all areas of the UK receiving an allocation from the fund via a funding formula rather than a competition. The primary goal of the UKSPF is to build pride in place and increase life chances across the UK.
