AUDIENCES will be taken on a high-octane intergalactic odyssey when a rocketing performance comes to Elgin.

Space Race, a new family singalong adventure from Funbox, will explore new worlds and dimensions to answer mysteries of the universe – such as what do astronauts eat? What is the

stinkiest planet? And where are the friendliest aliens?

Packed with classics like Apples and Bananas and Aiken Drum, it is described as an 'out of this world' experience for all the family.

Audiences can dress up for the space adventure, which takes place at Elgin Academy on Saturday, June 15 at 1pm and 3.30pm.

Anya Scott-Rodgers, who is in the cast of four bringing the experience to life, said: "We’re really looking forward to blasting off with this show.

"We’ve got keys to find and only one spacesuit to share – here's hoping we don’t get lost in space!"

Tickets are on sale for the afternoon showings and can be purchased from Sound and Vision, in Elgin, or from Ticketmaster.
