Coronavirus in Moray: Drivers to get six-month emergency MOT extension

The government has granted car owners a six-month exemption from MOT testing in order to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

However, the government has warned that all vehicles must still be kept in a roadworthy condition.

Therefore drivers could still face prosecution if they're caught driving unsafe vehicles.

Garages will remain open for essential repair work.
