As of 11am today, the following ten schools were closed:

- Keith Primary School (only closed to bus transport pupils)
- Aberlour Primary
- Tomintoul Primary and Nursery
- Mortlach Primary and Nursery
- Rothes Primary

The closures come alongside similar disruptions in Aberdeenshire, which were announced last night.
Pupils at affected schools were told to check their online home learning resources.
