He has been a full-time children's author for 10 years and has written nine books and performed at almost 3000 schools, libraries and book festivals throughout Britain, Ireland, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, Spain, India and Australia.

He has been invited to Kinloss Primary School a number of times.

"My last visit being February 2022. It was a harrowing, snow-filled, action-packed drive from Falkirk and I arrived at the school as a shell-shocked wreck of an author. The teachers and pupils were so welcoming that I decided to dedicate my ninth book to the school."
