Stage set for Keith Horticultural Society Spring show

A BLAST of spring colour and smells are set to fill the Longmore Hall.

Keith Horticultural Society’s spring show will take place this Saturday, April 22.

The show is on from 1-4pm and there are a range of classes up for grabs,with spring bulbs among them.

Schedules for the show are in local shops – Annands, Patersons, Porterfields and Keith Library.

Making a welcome return to the show line up this year is floral art.

Entries for this section have to be with the secretary by 5pm on Thursday, April 20.

There are classes for novices, intermediate and open.

There are handicrafts and baking sections too.

Youngsters can also get involved with classes for them too.

Keith Play Centre are doing the teas at the show on Saturday.

The club holds a second show on the first Saturday of September, with chrysanthemums, dahlias, roses, carnations, gladioli and cut flowers, vegetables, jams and jellies.
