Friday, December 18 is the final day for donations of toys, gifts, toiletries, non-perishable food and gift vouchers.

Particularly needed are gift ideas for older teenagers, boys and girls aged 15 and over.

With the impact of coronavirus hitting many people hard this year, there is a greater need than ever to support those struggling to make ends meet this Christmas.

This and other appeals will ensure every child and teenager will have a present in Moray to open.

Our appeal partners are the St Giles Centre, which is the main drop-off point for items, Asda Elgin and Tesco Elgin, which also have collection points, Dr Gray's Hospital and Moray Council.

Last year the appeal supported more than 300 individuals and families across Moray, with all your donations wrapped and delivered to those in need in time for December 25 by the social work department of Moray Council.
