Delamere Foundation grants aim to strengthen local communities

GRASSROOTS projects which seek to strengthen local communities could be eligible for grants awards of up to £5000.

The Delamere Dairy Foundation provides support for charities, community groups, social enterprises and other non-profit organisations delivering projects that fit a number of objectives.

These include: The advancement of agriculture and of environmental protection; The advancement in life of young people by developing their capabilities so that they may mature as contributory members of society; The relief of financial hardship; The advancement of education; The relief of sickness.

Eligible organisations can apply for a minimum of £1000 up to maximum £5000. Charities and organisations may apply to the fund once per calendar year.

The closing date for the spring 2024 round of applications is Thursday, February 29 2024. Decisions will be made in April, and funding granted in May, so applicants must ensure that their projects do not start until after these dates as grants cannot be offered retrospectively.
