WATCH: Türkiye-Syria Rotary ShelterBox fundraising buffet night at Qismat in Elgin

A MORAY restaurant and window firm are hosting a buffet night for the Türkiye-Syria Earthquake Appeal.

Qismat in Elgin and Cathedral Windows are behind the fundraiser on Wednesday, February 22 at 7pm.

A classic buffet night will see half of the normal £25 cost for the meal going to support the Rotary ShelterBox effort.

Tickets are available from Cathedral Windows, High Street, Elgin.

ShelterBox provides emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families around the world who are affected by disasters, at the time when they need it the most.

Since ShelterBox's inception in 2000, the charity has responded to earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, tsunamis, hurricanes, landslides, typhoons and conflict, delivering emergency humanitarian aid to families in need on every continent.

Over the last 22 years, ShelterBox has provided emergency shelter and disaster relief in 98 different countries.
