The programme begins indoors with a free 'hit the target challenge' on Thursday, April 18, from 4.30pm-7pm at the Elgin Youth Café in Francis Place.

Then, from 2pm-5pm on Friday, May3, it moves to the driving range at the Moray Golf Club in Lossiemouth.

Next, between the same times on Friday, May 17, there will be a Texas Scramble team tournament at Covesea Golf Links. The cost of taking part in this is £5per player.

The programme, which is for people of all ages, has been organised by parties with experience in mental health, drug and alcohol treatment.

Friends, family, teachers and carers are also welcome.

For the outdoor events wear protective clothing in case it rains.

Franz Rolinck of Living Golf said: "Golf really is the best medicine in the world. There's nothing to match it. We've staging this programme so it coincides with The Royal and Ancient's first national Golf and Health Week."

Ring Franz on 07570 139657 in advance so Living Golf has some idea in advance about the numbers of participants.

All organisations/players should organise their own transport. However, get in contact if you have transport problems.
