Ten positive coronavirus cases have been confirmed on a supply ship docked at Nigg on the Cromarty Firth.

Oil and gas industry company Subsea 7 said that the 10 staff members as well as well as all non-essential crew have been disembarked from the vessel and placed in isolation.

The company added: "There is no risk to the wider community."

The offshore supply ship was built in 2009 and flies under the Norwegian flag.

According to the Marine Traffic site, it originated from Fionaven, the deepwater oil development approximately 120 miles west of the Shetland Islands.
