Three teenagers charged in relation to thefts in Keith

THREE teenagers have been charged in relation to a series of thefts in Keith.

Police Scotland have charged three people, aged 17, 16 and 13, in relation to thefts from three commercial premises at the start of the month.

The break-ins took place at Shell Service Station, the Spar on Mid Street and Strathisla Distillery between February 6 and February 9.

Community Policing Officers in Keith responded to reports of the break-ins and traced those responsible, resulting in them being charged.

A report is to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and Scottish Children's Reporter Administration (SCRA).

Police in Moray thanked the local community for their assistance.
