TOMORROW'S online Elgin mart auction includes a huge range of items – which could be snapped up for as little as £2.

The programme, made up of items held at the Moray mart, includes a quad bike and oak furniture – alongside boxes packed with books, pictures, cameras and tools.

And most items have a starting bid of just £2, making the sale from 10am tomorrow (Wednesday, October 25) ripe for a bargain.

Taking to social media ahead of the sale, an ANM spokesperson said: "Take a look through some of the items available at the Elgin Online Only Sale of Household Furniture, Furnishings, Collectables, etc, which will take place from 10am on Wednesday, October 25."

One of the most eye-catching lots on offer at the sale is a 200cc quad bike (lot 694).

This 200cc quad bike had a top bid of £4 at the time of publication.

At the time of publication, the lowest bid on the potential bargain vehicle was a jaw-dropping £4.

Although, according to the item description, the quad will need a new battery, it could see someone willing to do some work benefit from a great deal.

Lot 497 could be perfect for someone looking to take up a new hobby – with three fishing rods and two tubes included.

No bids had been made for the item, which left the rods at their £2 starting point at the time of publication.

And for those looking for an unusual nostalgia item, a Bagatalle board – the ancestor of pinball – is on offer at the auction tomorrow (lot 551).

With a current bid of £3, anybody who gets stuck into the sale has a chance at scoring a characterful item, which could be great fun for younger members of the family.

The auction tomorrow could also provide a window into a new world of sewing and textiles, for a lucky buyer.

That comes by way of lot 892, described as an "E and R classic sewing machine".

And, with no bids, there is a chance that matching the starting bid of £2 could secure you the useful piece of history.

Also available at the auction, for retro fans, is a stylish Bush record player.

The "transistorised" hi-fi system could make a classy addition to all sorts of homes.

With no bids at the time of publication, with a starting bid of £2, it might be your chance to add a new centrepiece to your living room.

Those interested in picking something up at the online-only auction can register on the Aberdeen and Northern Marts website.

Winning buyers can collect their goods from the Elgin Auction Centre, on New Elgin Road within two days of the sale.

Collection can be completed on Wednesday between 3pm and 4pm, on Thursday between 9am and 3pm and Friday, between 9am and 1pm.

The ANM website adds: "All items are sold as seen and items that have been PAT tested are not guaranteed to be in working order."

Tomorrow's sale also includes a host of records, often with multiple boxes in each lot (lots 605, 606, 607, 717, 718)

Camera equipment (lots 553, 556, 557, 558, 559) also features heavily in the programme, including an unusual Lumicon Cine camera on offer (lot 634).

Those with musical passions could grab two bargain guitars (lot 686) or a clarinet with a case (lot 560), with a current bid of £12.

Tools on offer include a cased Ryobie drill (lot 494), a complete socket set (lot 830), a folding workbench (lot 850) and a Makita Radio which needs a battery (lot 565).

Always having a wide range of furniture for sale, tomorrow's sale is no different. Some highlights are: a classic wardrobe (lot 693), an oak sideboard (lot 728), a cute plant stand (lot 730) and a retro tiled coffee table (lot 736).

Alongside a large, signed picture of Prince Philip (lot 689), a diverse offering of framed pictures and paintings includes something for everybody (lots 543, 545, 513).
