A revival of international award-winning show The Vagina Monologues is planned for Moray next Spring.
The critically acclaimed work by American playwright Eve Ensler was last performed to packed houses at Elgin Town Hall in 2005.
A group in Forres, now planning to stage the show to a new audience, is on the lookout for sponsors, volunteer fundraisers and finance co-ordinators.
In addition it's also calling for actors to appear in the production which is scheduled for Saturday, March 16 next year.
Lorna Creswell, who's appeared in previous performances, said: "This moving celebration of an award-
winning masterpiece needs the talent that exists in Moray to bring it to life.
"We are looking for key players to initially join the focus group to help bring this project to fruition.
"Once our focus group is fully formed, we will then be casting and starting rehearsals."
When first performed in New York in 1996, the New York Times described The Vagina Monologues as ‘probably the most important piece of political theatre of the last decade'.
It remains a touchstone of the feminist movement, and its non-profit performances around the world raise money for women’s charities.
The Elgin performance proceeds will be donated to the Moray Rape Crisis charity.
