Vandalism in Lossiemouth as shop window smashed

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a shop window was smashed in Lossiemouth on Friday night.

Rizza's ice cream shop on Clifton Road was damaged, with Lossiemouth Community Council also receiving reports of traffic cones being thrown at a parked car.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 10.55pm on Friday, July 3, following the report of a window being smashed at a business premises on Clifton Road, Lossiemouth.

"No entry was gained to the shop and enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible."

Lossiemouth Community Council said: "This is absolutely disgusting.

"It has been such a hard time for local businesses these past months without having their property damaged."
