VIDEO: United States Navy in the sky above Moray

RAF Lossiemouth has been home to aircraft from the U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet.

They have been working on exercises over the Moray Firth with the resident nine Poseidon MPA aircraft based at the Moray base.

The Poseidon has extensive search and tracking capabilities over sea and land.

The aircraft’s weapons system also includes torpedoes for engaging sub-surface targets.
