Retired head teacher Frances Wardhaugh is organising a tournament in the summer in aid of Pluscarden Abbey’s south range appeal.

Frances, a member of the appeals committee, is looking for teams of seven players to take part.

The tournament takes place at the abbey on Saturday, June 22, with registration at 11am and kick-off from 11.30am.

The games are 5-a-side with rolling substitutions.

Entry fees are available from pluscardenabbeywalkfootball@gmail.com

It is £10 per team member or £50 per squad and this can be paid on the day. Entry forms have to be in by May 31.
