Wet Wet Wet are set to return to Aberdeen as part of their UK tour.

ICONIC band Wet Wet Wet have announced an Aberdeen date as part of their 2025 UK tour.

The P&J Live’s Hall C will be the place to be to see them on Saturday, February 8, 2025 in Aberdeen.

Featuring founding member Graeme Clark, accompanied as ever by long-standing guitarist Graeme Duffin, and fronted by Kevin Simm, the band will perform two runs of dates in 2025 in both January and February, as well as later in the year in October.

The Wets will bring to the stage their catalogue of legendary and defining hits, including the likes of Sweet Little Mystery, Angel Eyes, Goodnight Girl, With a Little Help from My Friends, Sweet Surrender, Julia Says and more.

They will also perform the ubiquitous hit Love Is All Around, their cover of The Troggs’ 1960s song, which this May, celebrates 30 years since it became the soundtrack to the summer of 1994.

Recorded for the Richard Curtis film Four Weddings and a Funeral, the song became a monumental worldwide hit which spent an incredible 15 consecutive weeks at No1 on the UK singles chart, an all-time record for a British artist that still stands.

The band appeared on Top of the Pops an incredible 19 times in 1994 – their 56 appearances in total on the programme also being a record for a Scottish act.

Wet Wet Wet have sold more than 15 million singles and albums to date and have featured in the UK singles chart and album chart for an incredible time period of over 500 weeks. Their albums have been certified 20x platinum in the UK alone.

Louise Stewart, Head of Entertainment, Exhibitions and Marketing, said: “We are pleased to extend a warm welcome to Wet Wet Wet for their second performance at the venue following their debut in Hall C back in 2019.

"The band were also the very first band to grace the stage at our old venue, Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) in 1990 – so we know them well. With an undeniable impact spanning four decades, we eagerly anticipate another unforgettable evening.”

Since 2018, Wet Wet Wet have been fronted by Kevin Simm (winner of The Voice UK and former member of Liberty X) and they released their first album with him, The Journey, in 2021 to massive critical acclaim.

Venue pre-sale tickets are available today (Thursday) and are on general sale from tomorrow (Friday).
