It's Craigmin Bridge over the Letterfourie Burn near Drybridge.

.

Alan Fraser, who took the photo, says: "From one perspective the double tier bridge has the look of a human skull."

The bridge was designed in around 1773 by Robert Adam.

Robert came from a famous family of architects.

His father, William, was Scotland's leading practitioner in his day and was widely revered as the 'Universal Architect'.

Amongst many other buildings, William Adam designed Duff House in Banff, Haddo House in Aberdeenshire, as well as Robert Gordon's College in Aberdeen, which was originally a hospital.

For his part, Robert designed the Royal Exchange in Edinburgh and the beautiful Pulteney Bridge in Bath.

He also worked on Fort George, which had been begun by his father.

Robert died in 1792 and was buried in the south aisle of Westminster Abbey.
