Hazel Thomson took this photo at the weekend of the Walled Garden at Gordon Castle near Fochabers.

She says: "The gardens are stunning. They have wonderful colours and there's an amazing heady scent in the air."

The eight-acre site was recently recorded as being one of the UK's top 20 most photographed gardens on Instagram.

One of the oldest walled gardens in Scotland, it has been painstakingly restored to past glory since the estate was taken over in 2008 by Angus and Zara Gordon Lennox.

The work has been carried out by the couple along with their gardening team plus the help of a whole swathe of volunteers.
