An afternoon of treats and competitions is planned on Saturday, September 18 to raise money for the Wild at Heart Foundation.

The team at the hotel are encouraging dog-owners to bring their best friends along.

Beginning at midday, there'll be a series of competitions, such as best dressed dog, with costumes on hand for any late entrants.

Prizes include personalised bottles of Copper Dog whisky illustrated with silhouettes of over 30 types of dog.

In addition, there will be the chance to capture the moment by striking a pose in the doggy photo booth.

Nikki Tibbles, founder of The Wild at Heart Foundation, said: "There has never been a more important time to help the world’s stray dog population.

"The Covid 19 pandemic has affected street dogs overseas to access the care and help they desperately need.

"These dogs rely on restaurants for scraps, volunteers for help and the good will of people to take them to the vets when they are injured.

"Sadly, this hasn’t been so easy over the past 18 months.

"I'd like to say a huge thank you to The Craigellachie Hotel and Copper Dog for organising such a lovely event where we can hopefully raise essential funds to help support our rescue, sterilisation and rehoming projects globally."

Donations of £5 per table.

Burgers from S.A Mackie Butchers in Aberlour as well as local beers and whiskies, plus plenty of food and drink for your dog.

All proceeds from ticket sales and £5 from each sale of a bespoke bottle of Copper Dog will go straight to the Wild at Heart Foundation.

The event will take place from noon-4pm on Saturday, September 18.

Book by emailing reservations@craigellachiehotel.co.uk or calling 01340 881 204.
