Why did the deer cross the fairway?

GOLFERS across Moray have been flocking back to the courses, aided by the glorious weather.

All the courses across the district have been busy since the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon eased lockdown restrictions on Friday and allowed outdoors sports like golf, tennis, bowls and fishing to take place again.

Social distancing and strict hygiene measures are in place for those taking part.

Temperatures soared on Saturday and Sunday, drawing people out to public parks, woodland walks and sub-kissed beaches.

Garden centres have also reopened for the first time since lockdown began on March 23.

At Moray golf course in Lossiemouth there was a surprise in story for the golfers there when two young deer wandered across one of the fairways, seemingly oblivious that the normal residents on the course had resumed their rightful place.
